Protea has an excellent classification area (2.000 m²) where goods coming from ships and containers are received.

 

From a logistic point of view, this area works as a reception, handling and distribution center. From this center the goods are distributed to the cold chamber for their storage, or to the loading area for their expedition.

 

The classification area counts with the following technical equipment: weighting centers, selection belt conveyors, automated baling systems, forklift trucks, etc. And qualified staff that allows handling more than 500 tons daily.

 

This classification area has also a sampling room which is equipped to carry out quality control of the goods, such as temperature, weight, size, sample analysis, etc.
